About DVI

For over 45 years, Dental Volunteers for Israel (DVI) has been transforming lives by providing free dental care to Jerusalem’s underprivileged children, at-risk youth, elderly, Holocaust survivors, displaced individuals, and lone soldiers. Our clinic, staffed by dedicated volunteer dentists from around the world, offers high-quality dental treatment and oral health education to break the cycle of poverty and improve long-term well-being.
 
By committing to ongoing support, you help ensure that vulnerable populations continue receiving essential, life-changing dental care. Your generosity sustains our mission and allows us to expand our reach to those in need.
 
DVI’s mission is to provide free and high-quality dental care to disadvantaged populations in Jerusalem. Our clinic operates with the support of 130-150 volunteer dentists annually, ensuring expert treatment for thousands of patients each year. The clinic is equipped with six modern dental chairs, a Panoramic Digital X-Ray machine, and a Standard Digital X-Ray machine, all provided through generous contributions.

Amir’s Story

Amir grew up in a tough Jerusalem neighborhood, struggling with severe dental issues that caused pain and shame. He avoided smiling, speaking in class, and socializing—all because of his teeth.

A social worker referred him to DVI’s free clinic, where volunteer dentists treated his pain and restored his smile. For the first time in years, Amir laughed without fear.

Today, he’s preparing to serve in the IDF, full of confidence.
